offers thermal efficiency, performance and style - and include Low "E" glass that has the best U- and R-values of any double-glazed system available today, keeping homes cooler in summer, warmer in winter, and blocks 87% of UV rays.
engineered to be impervious to water, cold, heat, insects, salt air and ultraviolet rays. The end result: efficient windows that maintain their beauty in every season, in any climate.
satisfies both the architectural purist and the realist. You get a carefree fiberglass exterior, plus the beauty of a wood interior. You can stain our wood interiors clear or finish them to match existing woodwork.
takes a step further by approaching the window as specific design element - not just a low-cost alternative. As a result, our unique aluminum windows are found in projects ranging from entry-level homes and multifamily projects to high-end custom homes and light commercial applications.
Once the best product is chosen, we are halfway home. Then RAINSHIELD takes over on the installation. How we execute our installation is at least as important to you as the manufacturer’s quality and reliability and keeps the warranties humming along.
The RAINSHIELD team has been trained by staff certified in the AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) window installation method. This is a far cry from most window installation outfits "Retro-fit" method. The AAMA Certified Installation Method takes more time and is a bit more expense, but the greater weather protection offered is the difference between night and day. When we are done, your home isn't relying on caulk alone as it would have to in the "Retro-fit" method.
AAMA Guidelines require several tested lines of defense: Windows installed with caulked flange nailed to sheathing, felt paper or Tyvek covering window flange, weather blocking butyl rubber adhesive tape connecting paper to flange, correct flashing, non-mitered window frame sealed against weather.
Whew! A lot of work for us, but now it's warm and dry and quiet inside for you! Isn't that what you want? Ask your RAINSHIELD Representative to show you how.
